Food safety requirements
We recommand to all our chefs to btain the the HACCP license in order to sell your home cooked food to the public.
Home kitchens are not subject to a restaurant license nor a catering license, provided the food is advertised as homemade. However, in the Netherlands, food trucks and any other businesses involved with food (including homemade food sellers) must meet national safety and hygiene requirements in order to safeguard consumer health.
They are required by law to formulate a food safety plan in line with the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system. You can register online for the permit.
